Day 1 - Calgary

Welcome to Calgary, the largest city in the province of Alberta, a fusion of sophisticated urban life and warm western hospitality.

Upon arrival, transfer to The Dorian, Autograph Collection hotel where you’ll meet your Tour Director and fellow travellers at a welcome briefing.

Day 2 - Calgary > Banff

Journey from Calgary to Banff today.

Ramble the roads of Alberta’s historic Cowboy Trail to experience the flavours of the Rocky Mountain foothills on your journey from Calgary to Banff. Despite harsh conditions, dedicated farmers produce some of Alberta's most delicious food. Day 3 - Banff

Snowshing on Top of the World: (Early season only) Put your snowshs on and walk out into a white powder paradise and simply miles and miles of powdery wilderness.  It is a mix of fun, challenge, and learning.

Day 4 - Banff > Lake Louise

Arrive this morning at Lake Louise, known as the ‘Diamond in the Wilderness’. Marvel at the breathtaking Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, set amidst unparalleled natural beauty. Enjoy an overnight Scenic Special Stay in a Lakeview Room.

Day 5 - Lake Louise > Jasper

The Icefields Parkway is renowned as one of the most spectacular drives in the world due to its 
breathtaking scenery of towering mountain peaks, glaciers, turquoise lakes and 
ascading waterfalls. Today we'll travel along this magnificent highway, winding through the 
heart of the Canadian Rockies and stopping at the Columbia Icefield.

Glide onto the icy expanse of the Athabasca Glacier on board an Ice Explorer, immersing 
yourself in the ancient beauty of this frozen landscape. 

Scenic Enrich
Embark on a guided plant walk led by an indigenous storyteller, learning about the medicinal and culinary uses of native plants. Afterwards, sit down to an exclusive dinner inspired by your walk and featuring ingredients from Jasper’s wilderness. 

Later, in Jasper, settle in for the next two nights at the Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge.

Day 6 - Jasper

Jasper, in the heart of the Canadian Rockies, is a haven for outdoor enthusiasts and nature 
lovers alike. Today, explore its rugged beauty of towering peaks, crystal-clear lakes and pristine wilderness by choosing from a range of Scenic Freechoice experiences.

Tonight, unwind in a Kamloops hotel selected by Rocky Mountaineer, adding to your unforgettable experience through the heart of the Rockies.

Day 8 - Rocky Mountaineer > Vancouver

View the confluence of the Fraser and Thompson rivers from your glass-dome carriage. As your journey continues, savour delicious cuisine paired with local wine or beer, all while soaking in the breathtaking scenery.

Later today, arrive in cosmopolitan Vancouver for your overnight stay at the Fairmont Hotel Vancouver. Set in the heart of the historic downtown district, the ‘Castle in the City’ promises timeless elegance in the heart of the action.

Day 9 - Vancouver > Alaskan Cruise

Enjoy the serenity of Capilano Suspension Bridge Park this morning, opening early exclusively for Scenic guests. Wander across the swaying suspension bridge, high above the lush forest canopy, and marvel at the breathtaking views of the surrounding wilderness. Then join a city sightseeing tour ending with a delectable lunch, providing a moment to relax and savour the experience.

Later, board Holland America Line’s MS Koningsdam for your seven-night Alaskan cruise. Look out for humpback whales or bald eagles from your Verandah Stateroom.

Day 10 - Scenic Cruising

Enjoy a day of rest today as you settle into your luxurious surrounds. Relax with a book, enjoy entertainment or explore the restaurants and lounges on board the ship as we cruise northwards.

Day 11 - Juneau

Day 12 - Skagway

Day 13 - Glacier Bay
